Module1 Practical Motorcycle Test Demonstration Video (New Bike Test)

www.artmotorcycletraining.co.uk As from 27th April 2009 everyone wishing to take a full motorcycle licence in the UK must first take & pass Module 1 of the test on the MMA (Motorcycle Manoeuvring Area) before they can take the on road part (Module 2). This video was shot using Go-Pro cameras, one on board the bike & the other as a stand alone, the conditions were very wet as you will see in the video, BUT the surface of the MMA is very high quality & we had no problems with grip at all, so in the dry it will be even better. The bike used is Kawasaki ER500 with tyres that have over half their useful life left in them. The test was done on a left handed layout of the circuit you may be asked to ride right handed or a variant of the design dependant on the location of your local MPTC (Multi Purpose Test Centre) The avoidance manoeuvre was done at 60kph which is 10 kph faster than the 50 kph required, this was deliberately fast to show it can be done very easily. The emergency stop was also faster than the required 50 kph this was done at 56kph. No one will have any problems in passing this part of the test as long as you have been taught by a professional Motorcycle Instructor or Mororcycle Training School that teaches you how to ride a motorcycle safely and not just how to pass a test!!! One bit of advice though if you are a complete novice wanting to take the test on a 125cc bike, please consider riding for a couple of months prior to booking a test as there is no ...

How to band a technics 1200/1210 aback to its face bowl for painting or replacing. allotment 2

This is a video showing you how to strip a technics 1200/1210 back to its face plate. The reason for doing something like this is either to pain the face plate or to replace it, in either case stripping the turntable back to the face plate is required. Just as an experiment I phoned my local electronics repair shop to get a quote on how much he would charge to do this and he said 20 quid setup charge 40 quid to strip it and 60 quid to put it back together 120 QUID !!!!!!! Thats like 170 dollars I could buy a second hand turntable for that alternatively 85 quid to simply change the face plate thats like 120 dollars, so you are defiantly saving a bomb by doing this yourself. Its not massively difficult you just have to have your head screwed on and pay close attention to where all the bits went, if you think about it the main circuit board, the power circuit board, and the transformer are all joined so youre not going to put them back in the wrong place and you know where the tone arm goes and the pitch fader, and if you have ever switched on a technics turntable you will know where the power switch is, so you cant really go wrong. Information. When soldering on these turntables especially the older models leaded solder is normally used so keep your soldering tip clean after soldering, and mind your fingers because sometimes leaded solder can bubble and it spits and itll burn your fingers. This link is for more detail on removing the screws from the bottom of the turntable ...

Part 2 - How to accomplish a bifold sided PCB application the toner alteration method

I use the Pulsar PCB "Fab-In-A-Box" Kit www.pcbfx.com to make my own double sided PCB. I made this video for my lab www.icehockeyscience.mcgill.ca which is why it is so long but I don't think its a bad idea to share it with you in full length as many videos just jump through the process very quickly. I am a completely new at this as this is my second board I've ever made. I'm not a circuit guy but needed a board for my research project in biomechanics so I went out and learned. Please feel free to comment with improvements or suggestions on my methods but provide some reasoning if you do. Thanks and good luck with your boards! Newest DRSSTC Test Bed.

Built this coil for practice and to test my new board. I have another scaled up version on the way which is also a test for a Big DRSSTC. Wanted to make sure the boards worked before throwing them into a huge high powered coil. The circuit is similar to Steve wards older design but has been simplified. This circuit is going to be redone again to bring the cost down and also using all CMOS logic so it can all be ran off of 15 volts.

Collin's Lab: Kit-making

When recently faced with the dauntingly tedious task of assembling my first-ever batch of electronics kits, I was lucky enough to have the ever-helpful eye of seasoned kit-maker Becky Stern close by. While observing my one-man assembly 'process', Becky advised a more efficient, modular assembly line technique using intermediary storage vessels better known as "plastic cups". Streamlining the process left me with plenty of time to cook up some some unusually fancy title/motion graphics for the above-seen video. Most importantly (to those who are playing the game), don't forget to take a picture of your own color wheel. For each game, the colors are different. Should one choose to ignore this warning, I will only say that you will regret it later in-game. Ye be warned! In closing, special thanks to Ubisoft for creating such a great game! Also, thanks to Cyan Worlds for creating the first few Myst games.
