Homemade Z80 COMPUTER active elementary BASIC language

Hi, I finally wrote a Basic language for my Z80/AM95 8-bit NANO COMPUTER in order to easily program it. I called it "8BASIC" because everything must clearly fit the 8 digit LED display. The video shows all commands and statements, plus two famous benchmarks vs. contemporaneous 1970's-80's computers. Due to the strong mathematical support of the AM9511 math processor, the BASIC interpreter runs reasonably fast for a 2.5 MHz machine, offering seven significant digits floating-point arithmetic. Everything you see in the video is the result of almost three years of work (or fun?!). All data reproduced in the video are for educational and non-commercial purpose, following fair-use guidelines. Joule Thief-- with tunable coil.ASF

This is a standard Joule Thief circuit with a tunable inductor coil. The simple one transistor circuit is powered off one 1.5 volt AA battery and is driving multiple LEDs in two locations. The coil is hollow and a ferrite slug is used to adjust it's three windings into resonance. A potentiometer at the transistor base is also used to fine tune the circuit. The 27 LEDs are on a Dr. Stiffler SEC tower and are-- IN SERIES! The one LED on the board is in the standard location off the collector. All of the LEDs can be made to light at the same time.

If you're doing any kind of remodels, especially kitchen, new appliances may require more electricity then you had before. Or the addition of new outlets, in the kitchen or the bathroom. Basically everything new requires more electricity then it did you know when your house was wired in the 50's or 60's or even the 70's. If you have an old breaker panel and your circuit breaker looks like this with the orange handle on there. These are prone to not tripping when they're supposed to. It's a 15 amp breaker and it's supposed to kick off when the circuit draws more then 15 amps. This particular brand is known to never trip. You could be drawing a 100 which is prone to fires. The other thing is with older panels they look like this. They are not very large and don't hold very many breakers. When houses were wired in the 40s 50s and 60's there just wasn't as big of a requirement for as many circuits as we have ...
