A Low Cost Regulated Voltage Doubler Part 2

Walk through the basics of a charge pump circuit. Each components significance is highlighted using a series of slides that show both the schematic and output waveforms. Next, a pulse train is applied to the circuit to create a voltage doubler. Intelligence is later incorporated using a comparator peripheral on a PIC Microcontroller to regulate output voltage. All equations required to build the circuit are discussed as well as derivations and importance.
